Guest guest
It can cause decreased liver and kidney function which is why it's important to have a doctor that does regular blood draws. It's rare, though, that it causes issues.CherylDoes valtrex affect the liver?TIA
Guest guest
As far as I know, no...the antifungals can though...however, conside3ring the long term consequences of systemic yeast overgrowth, it is worth the risk....and the therapy can be dropped if liver enzymes shwo that the RXs are not well tolerated. The more you learn about candida and its links to cancer and autoimmune diseases, the more you will want to address any yeast overgrowth issues in your kids. Candida is BAD news....askl anyone with fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrom, rheumatoid arthritis, candidiasis.... > > Does valtrex affect the liver? > > TIA > >
Guest guest
My Pediatrician says for short term use on Diflucan, liver enzymes do not need to be checked. I am doing a 3 week on and 1 week off and using Threelac during the 1 week off. You note their skin color and eyes. If you do not see any yellowing of the skin or eyes and no dark urine, then you do not need to worry. If you do see these signs then contact the MD and stop the Diflucan. > > > > Does valtrex affect the liver? > > > > TIA > > > > >
