Sleepless nights again...please advise

We are on week six of Valtrex in conj with Diflucan. His supps are all

SCD legal, but Pfeiffer Tretament Center's Protocol. He is waking up

again around 3 am and cannot return to sleep. I find him talking to

himself and lying on his tummy pressing his tummy or fetal position on

his knees. No screaming or tantrums - just quietly calling out for us

in his way, and AWAKE. Quite happy to get up and run about if we let

him...when he finally falls asleep he is out until 10 am sometimes

unless woken for therapies etc. PLEASE HELP. Poor kid. He is only

2.5. During the day we are seeing some gains, slow and steady, but he

is TIRED. He has a rash now as well - though it does not seem to

bother him too much - on his torso front and back. His diaper area is

also very yeasty rashy, and we are treating that topically with

antifungal cremes as it did itch and irritate him. Our DAN will allow

us to switch to Nizoral, but I am scared of its side effects as I have

heard it really tears up the gut...any advice anyone? I also think we

may have a bad clostridia issue, and I am wondering how one determines

if it is a blood infection or simply overgrowth in the gut? Thanks.
