Re;OT/ The View show Just a bit of gossip ~ Remembering on there

Okay I cannot stand the show, but they were presenting some new foods to come out this year that are healthier and I had it on.

Not paying that much attention to it, I over heard

one of the guest hosts , Sherry, mention that one of the other hosts ( the one who has been Pregnant and just returned) - has Celiac disease! I ran it back just to make sure I

wasn't mistaken. wasn't even one of the hosts discussing the foods, she

was off stage and comes running out and grabs whatever Gluten Free snack they were

show casing - sticks it in her mouth and runs off stage again.

So why on earth were they not more interested in what McCarthy had to say when

she was on the show last year?? She was talking about the diet - her son, the book.

This just urks me -- that they were acting like a bunch of

hen pecks!

Okay that's my little steam about that darn show... Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year.

I agree with you that it's just plain disappointing when they have a

teachable moment that presents itself and they ignore it. When

had appeared and her show prompted some posts on these lists, people

were asked to write The View, which I did. I wrote to Barbara Walters

specifically and said that I was disappointed in her doubting .

Needless to say, I watched in ensuing days to see if there was any

mention of off-camera emails, which I'm sure there were many. A few

days after I sent the email, Barack Obama was scheduled to be on the

show, but he had to cancel that morning. Whoopi, Barbara and company

had to wing it for the entire hour, and I thought, " well maybe they'll

mention the emails. " Of course, we all know the ending. No mention

of any emails and Barbara gets the last word. Betsy

Cancelling The View at the last minute -- hmm, I'd like to think that

Barack did that intentionally to make a point! That's another reason

why I like him.

Those people were ridiculous and very uninviting...I could tell wanted to tell them all to go to hell! They are retarded and loud...I would tune into a more supporting group like Oprah or Larry King Live...Dana
