His fever is still high. We started Nizoral two days ago, but I do not think this is die off since there is a stomache virus going around. He has a fever, a rash that comes and goes, and I am a bit frightened that it could be liver stress....how DOES one know?!What can I give for a fever if Tylenol and Motrin are off limits? Guest guest
I do not know that it is...I was told that it gives stomache ulcers...but not from someone on this list. Is a fever helping him by killing a virus...or do we want to bring it down ASAP? Thanks.--- In mb12 valtrex , Maurine Meleck wrote: > > for a high fever-why is motrin off limits? > > diatplay wrote: Calcium worked for my daughter the other day...not so my son tonight. > His fever is still high. Guest guest
Got it. We are SO hoping this is his body rallying, finally, to go after the fungal bacterial and viral issues that we think are a big part of his autism. He is 100-101 now and up and about, though not peppy if you know what I mean. There is a stomache flu going around so it could just be that....I have heard that some see big h=gains after fevers though, so hopefully, even a brief illness will help him in the long run.
