Guest guest
My son(PDD) is 4.2 years old, been doing supplements, GF/CF diet, ABA, ST/OT, etc for about 7 months. He has speech in the form of a few sentences, mainly " I want ____ " or " I need bathroom " , but it is very poor. We took him to Dr. Cave in November for multiple tests, etc., which revealed low GP6D, which elimates the use of DMSA. Also, he showed positive for HHV6. He's been on Nystatin and MB12 shots since then. IV CaEDTA chelation has been recommended. We just started mHBOT at home a couple of weeks ago. He's been on Diflucan for the last couple of weeks and we're getting ready to start Valtrex in the next week or so. I'm hoping Dr. Cave will allow me to keep him on Diflucan while on Valtrex. I figured we'd start the chelation in the next month. Are there any concerns about starting IV chelation during the Valtrex process within a month? Is there anything else I should be aware of or looking for? Thanks for any advice from those of you that are experienced would be appreciated.
