Guest guest
I had my first colonoscopy/biopsy yesterday- my second is booked in a few days time.My internal muscles are not working very well, and my intestines are not holding very well My specialist prescribed me with ant-diarrehia medication, when I read the side effects - guess what? Cholesterol reduction number 1 Anti diarrehia number 2. As I have severe muscle wastage from Statins, and I have listed my 'allergy' to them. I was amazed at him prescribing this particular medication. He doesn't even know what my levels are - and never asked.I do not want any medication that will reduce my cholesterol - because of my muscle damage internal/external I need to up my levels as high as they will go. He thinks that the medication is a bonus as it reduces cholesterol !!!!! Guest guest
Right now the cholesterol theory is like a dry cookie beginning to crumble on the edges. I predict by 2020 the cookie will crack thru the center and begin to fall apart rather fast.I predict the term "bad cholesterol" will eventually be history, and LDL cholesterol will be the medicine of the future to treat neuromuscular degenerative diseases. Guest guest
Does anybody here know what the accepted cholesterol levels were back in 1970 -'75? I was curious because according to National Institutes of Health Graphs and statistics, it was from '70-'75 we made the best rate of progress against heart disease in the USA.
