What a brilliant article - if only we could get the health professionals to read

and understand. When she talks about muscle cannibalisation - that's what's

happened to me.It wasn't until I had a muscle biopsy and the surgeon couldn't

find any - and the test came back that there was a problem - similar to Muscular

Dystrophy - but not quite! well the Statin damaged are very familiar with this

diagnosis!!!I know this has affected my large/small intestines and that I

haven't got cancer -just hope that I can convince my bowel specialist. Anyone

else out there got severe internal muscle damage like me? Love to hear from you.

Pamela,There is no question of statins ability to destroy muscle tissue thru inhibiting the mevalonate pathway.I am 100% convinced we have stumbled upon an effective treatment for degenerative muscular diseases.Simply reverse the process of statins, and ENHANCE the mevalonate pathway by giving the very enzyme statins inhibit. There are more products from the mevalonate pathway than just CoQ10, including LDL cholesterol which is the building blocks to healthy cells. Okay Bobby

I'm Taking 300mgs of COQ 10 daily -have been for the past 28 months - don't think it's reversing the process.

I know of a website where you can purchase a natural supplement for choelsterol reduciton. Also, psychillian huks works really well. You can take about two table spoons in water ( at least 8 oz) 2 to 3 times per day.

Also, fish oils but like 100 mgs per day. The cheaper fish oils usually have only 250 mgs per day, so you have to take at lease 4. But then you should really take more than 1000 mgs per day. It will offset the bad cholesterol even if it is high.

I love cholesterol too - can't get mine high enough! Had the muscle biopsy

earlier in the year and it proved the damage - lost 50% of my muscles with

Statins and it hurts. Only on them 28 months - nearly died.PamelaSP

Me too. The body needs cholesterol for hormone production, healthy arteries, even healthy cells. Interfering with a process central to one's health in the interest of an unproven theory that might produce minimal benefit seems the height of foolishness to me. I have seroiusly considered starting a " I love cholesterol" campaign.A Statin Victim I met thru medications. com used those words "I love cholesterol". Instantly I visualized a bumper sticker with the famous "I ( red heart) cholesterol)"Nothing would drive a statin pharma rep more crazy than to be behind a car at a stop light and see that slogan. A person could also create the slogan to appear at the bottom of all their emails and social media communications. Its short. Its sweet, and straight to the point. And it will cause people to inquire. A huge I love cholesterol campaign? Is this possible? Could this really happen? What would be required to make it reality? or is it

a dumb idea?Feedback please,Bobby Alternate email: marooned@...Bobby- Your Caribbean Travel Plannerwww.pinkystravel.com International Destinations, Resorts, Vacation

I LOVE IT!!! Especially the bumper sticker! Maybe that would make some members of the medical community think about the demonization of substance the body absolutely needs to thrive. Dave Turgeon. Great articles--chasing down the references is enough to really make

you wonder how so many people could be so wrongheaded and truly

unscientific.
