Anne you sound like me! I have so many things started, but I run out of

steam before I can finish them. I get all these bright ideas, but

unfortunately my body does not co-operate with my mind. I've tried moving

furniture with my mind, but it doesn't work <g>. This weekend I decided to

take advantage of my son being home, and had him help with rearranging

furniture and spring cleaning behind things. All I did was make my house a

complete wreck! Now everyone is back to school, and I have things half

done.

I try to do a little each day, but I sure do miss the days of my cyclone

cleaning!

Won't your primary doctor refer you to an endo? It sure sounds like you

qualify to see one. Since researching thyroid problems for the group, I've

learned a lot about it. The thyroid can sure cause a lot of problems. I

hope you can get a referral and find out what is going on.

700-800 calories is much too low and you will not succeed if you only

consume that amount. The idea is to " trick' your body by lowering your

caloric intake slowly; in fact Walford recommends starting with 1800

calories!!! If you want to succeed don't go to dramatic lengths; certainly

not to begin with. Perhaps later you can lower your caloric intake but never

less than 1000cal/day. From your past history, you should know that

starvation diets don't work.

Have you read T120yD???

Hi Debra. yes the 11th was very terrible. The way they are talking we are

going to be in for some hard times.

Haven't heard from Dale. That's what I don't like about groups like this,

you don't know what may have happened to fellow listers. take care, laura

Hi, :

As for Dale, we all miss him. I had received a response from his wife by

e-mail a couple of weeks ago. She had said that Dale was due back, had been

out of town. Maybe on business, I don't know. That's the last that I've

heard.

As for tough times ahead, I think you're right. This is the beginning of it.

Susie, thanks for letting us know about Dale. Sounds like everything's okay

there.

I was wondering today, did people feel that it was " the beginning of it " at

the beginning of other wars and catastrophies? I do feel that we need to

straighten out our priorities. Take care. laura
