Guest guest
I've noticed a common thread to many of the newer meds that have been coming out in the last 10-20 years, of which the statin drugs are just one of this type: meds that interfere with the normal biochemical processes in an attempt to suppress something that is thought to be a problem. The statins disrupt one whole metabolic process; acid blockers also work by suppressing normal chemical production, and there are many more. My son had stomach acid excess problems for eight years that doctors couldn't find a cause for,and just kept giving him acid blockers--which gave him every side effect in the book. Finally he did his own research and insist that they test him for Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and they found a tumor on his pancreas that was triggering the acid. Fortunately, the tumor was easily removed and he's been a new man since. There is a reason for how our biochemistry works the way it is supposed to, and both my husband and I have had enough side effects from meds to be very suspicious of anybody who thinks they know more that our Creator.
