Guest guest
re: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/02/120216185408.htm The issue of there being " grave dangers " in the food which are farmed using modern methods, has been something under discussion among " organic food advocates " for decades now. However, to date, these so called dangers have not been well documented in studies and the study at this link is no exception. It proves little if anything. To wit: It was a very short study and chickens are not really close to humans considering besides the obvious (humans are mammals and omnivores) and also, the chicken digestive system is specifically geared toward digesting seeds and that sort of thing and nothing much else. That is give a chicken anything other than the usual and it might have trouble with it.. But that being said, the scientists did admit that within a couple of weeks, even the chickens adapted to the nanoparticles: >>>>>But following exposure of 2 milligrams per kilogram for two weeks -- a slower, more chronic intake -- the structure of the intestinal villi began to change and increase in surface area. This was an effective physiological remodeling that led to increased iron absorption <<<< Not sure what they were trying to prove with the study but it certainly seems to NOT prove that we are in " grave danger " from nanoparticles.
