So sorry to hear this Pamela. I hope the specialist can help you.Barbara Sent from my iPad

Mike , Bobby and everyone else, I've just had SS diagnosed, it's taken 12 yrs since the first symptoms in 2000. Went to see a rheumatologist at that time and he said that I need a shrink!Apparently the average time of diagnosis is 7 years.I was told in 2003 that it was fibromyalgia, then 2005 ME.I started the Statins in 2005, for 28 months, they exacerbated everything. My bloods came back with my white cells down to 2.9 and my lymphs and trigs about a quarter of what they should be. Also that I have antibodies to non history antigens. The latter is an indicator of SS, plus the 24 hour taste of salt in my mouth, that has lasted since Xmas, running eyes and nose, permanent diarrhoea since last October. Neuropathy, memory loss, does it sound familiar? Off to see a professor at Norwich Hospital next week who specialises in this illness. So you see I didn't need a shrink, just 12 years of tests and specialists? Not sure what treatment is available.Watch this space.
