This is a great graph and write-up, but

have you seen one which is more recent? In this one, the data even for

2003-2005 is estimated. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this, . Do

you know when the info was gathered? It mentions projecting out to 2007,

and I wonder if there is a similar graph that is more up to date?

Hello guys:

I need a

little help here on the medicare fees! It is now 2008 and my trailblazers

(regional medicare payor) website shows that “allowed” fees are

indeed about 10% lower than 2007 (ARGHH!). I thought there was a 6 month “hold”

of some sort passed in Washington

before the end of year that would be in effect.

Is the

website wrong, do I need to charge the new 2008 fees or can I continue to use

2007 fees for the next 6 months?? I am “non-par” with

medicare and saw one of my (few) medicare patients on first work day of the new

year. It figures!

Any and

all help appreciated.

Reading through the bulletins, I gather that the originally proposed 0.05% increase was passed for 6 months, so that's what I'm using for my non-par rates. The correct fees won't be posted until MondayRGMS <rgmscomcast (DOT) net> wrote:Hello guys:I need a little help here on the medicare fees!  It is now 2008 and my trailblazers (regional medicare payor) website shows that “allowed” fees are indeed about 10% lower than 2007 (ARGHH!).  I thought there was a 6 month “hold” of some sort passed in Washington before the end of year that would be in effect. Is the website wrong, do I need to charge the new 2008 fees or can I continue to use 2007 fees for the next 6 months??  I am “non-par” with medicare and saw one of my (few) medicare patients on first work day of the new year.  It figures! Any and all help appreciated.RamonaRamona G.
