Make That Cereal Work Even though fortified cereals give us quite a leg up on getting adequate vitamins and minerals, you can do more to gain cereals' benefits. Having a glass of orange juice with cereal will enhance your body's ability to absorb iron. That's because orange juice, of course, is rich in vitamin C.
