Sorry, no; IMP Camp is not really a camp. Despite my desire to have

it at a state or national park, turns out they aren't quite ready for

the technology we need just yet (maybe in a few years). But it will

still be fun, just like camp.

We will actually be in the Rochester Academy of Medicine building in

Rochester, NY. We have a group block at a hotel nearby, although if

you want to find a place to camp nearby, you are welcome to do that!

Details and Registration will be coming in the next few weeks.

SAVE the DATES: June 20-21 (Friday and Sat.). We will start early

Friday morning, so try to arrive Thursday night.

There will be a plenary by Gordon , our fearless

leader. Workshops and smaller talks on practical topics such as

weaving technology together in a small practice, how to write a

business plan, patient access, alternative financing, and

others. Round tables at meals to group new residency graduates,

experienced docs who want to transition to an IMP practice, IMP's who

want to improve quality of care, and others so ideas can be

shared. There will be something for those who are just considering

an IMP to those who have done it for a few years and want to keep

improving their practice and everyone in between. The finale will be

the Jazz Festival Sat. night (held annually in Rochester carefully

timed to our conference).

In reading this, a lot of it fits the CME

mode. Has anyone applied to the AAFP for accreditation so, in addition to the

fun and company, a few CME credits are in the offering?

Yes, we will have CME credit, I don't know exactly how many hours will

qualify yet.
