i too am waiting for more robust pm from AC; what i currently do is enter all the payment info into the account tab in AC; if you want to keep closer track (which i do), go to the admin tab, and check the financials portion, that way you can view summaries for any period of time, and print it out. that's what i currently use to see where i am, what are my billables, receivables, and which patients have what outstanding, and if i am waiting for an insurance payment, or a patient payment. then i can go to any of the individual bills on the patient's account tab, and see the billing notes i've entered for any of the outstanding bills, if there are any notes, eg when the insurance payment came in, and when a bill was generated and sent to the patient. hope that's helpful. Right now, I don’t even have PM system/software…I just use AC for entering payments and Quickbooks for the few accts I have that have balances. If AC doesn’t get the PM out soon and I decide to take a private insurance company or two, I’ll need PM software. I’ve read a number of posts about Office Ally and their Practice Mate PM. Is there any way to connect the data (demographics and billing) between AC and either Practice Mate or other (simple and cheap!) PM software. Seems silly to have to enter it in both AC AND the PM software…any advice? Gretchen Reis MD Wellspring Family Medicine 1171 N. Court Street Circleville, OH 43113 Phone Fax

EZ Claims has a separately priced link to use between it and Quickbooks.I don't use it, but have thought about it several times. EZ Claims does accept information directly from AC. I’m a happy user of Amazing Charts, and anxiously awaiting the practice management component they have promised.
