Thanks for the info.

I got a packet from Multiplan to be part of their "network".

Have it in a stack somewhere. Was debating on whether to circular file it -- now the decision is made -- out it goes.

In my opinion, be very leary of Multiplan and Magna Care and some others.Several reasons:-I'm sure they have multiple products, but in our experience they are usually just a third party administrator that offers to the self insured union or business a panel of participating doctors that their members / employees can see at a very discounted rate. Fee schedules will differ based on who is the real insurance provider. Reimbursement is usually at around 50% to 66% of prevailing Medicare rates.-if there is a problem with slow payment, they will often just refer you to the union or self insured business-they down code routinely and assume the doctor will not have the energy to appeal.Enough said?Mike Safran
