Guest guest
I cannot imagine how uncomfortable that would be having so much saline in your body. I just can't imagine it, not only that but I would think that would be a major breeding ground for bacteria. Seems obscene to me. Ya know at one time I would have been jealous that anyone could have implants and now I just feel sorry for these women, they must be very shallow and miserable with themselves to need that much boob. This woman said that her implants are paying for themselves and went on to say that she got out of a speeding ticket due to the fact that she unbuttoned her shirt for a traffic cop. I swear sometimes I wonder about some women's morals! Then there was another girl telling everyone to look at her 2 year post implant pictures, so I looked at them, I swear I cannot believe that anyone would want 980cc implants in their body and that they actually could find a Dr who would do this. I wonder what she will do when she needs them removed (if) she does someday. I mean seriously are these Dr's thinking that they are practicing medicine in this way? Gross and disgusted here and happy to be out of that kind of scene! love

Guest guest
This will make you LOL. I have a friend in CA, who get this, is a Clinical Psychologist, Phd, who also has 980 implants. BTW the rest of her is a size 3. Anyway, she told me last year she was sick of the medical profession in the way they "talk" to patients. She said when she went for her mammo, the technician said she could NOT do the mammo because of her way-too-large implants. The tech commented to her "What kind of dr. puts implants that are too big in women? What in the world was he thinking of?" Perhaps the tech didn't say it in a professional way, but nonetheless, SOMEBODY'S gotta tell these girls with way-too-big boobs that they look rediculous. It's not like she's a stripper makes money off of it! She got a MRI. She also complains of CC. She says " I love my boobs, I just wish they could figure out what to do with this CC stuff. They need to work on that." She is on her 3rd set.I have sent her info on CC &the dangers in general about implants. She wrote me last month telling her NOT to send anything else. I only sent her 2 articles, so it wasn't like I bombarded her with info. I'm glad she lives 1500 miles rom me. W have been friends for over 25 years too. Funny, I took her college admissions tests, because she couldn't get into the schools she wanted! She recently said she doesn't remember me taking ANY tests for her.I'll forgive her for this oversight; she IS on her 3rd set of implants! The first ones were silicone; had them replaced because after one year she got pregnant (twins) said "the pregnancy really screwed with the implants they had to be replaced."3 sets of implants in 13 years. Man that's a lot of recovery time!Did I mention she has a Phd.?I'm sorry to be so sarcastic. But I really do love the person she use to be. Now her face is so broken out she has developed sudden allergies. Her memory of events from our way-too-fun past has left her. And she won't listen to me. I got my implants before she did. She saw how good I looked tried to top me I guess, with bigger ones. I only had 250 put in, making me a 34B.
Guest guest
Wow, I can't see how anyone would take her seriously in her profession with boobs that are 980ccs?? Obviously, you were the one who got her PHD for her. If you wouldn't have taken those tests for her, she wouldn't have even gotten in. She should be grateful! ----- Original Message ----- From: ShihtzusRock@... Sent: Sunday, March 24, 2002 10:33 AM Subject: Re: Disgusted This will make you LOL. Guest guest
Hi and welcome to the group. I am so sorry you had to deal with this. This is totally unacceptable!!!! UGH, stories like yours burn me up inside. To say whether it was a waste of time, money, or even if he needed the band is going to take someone that is an expert to which I am not. If your not satisfied with the way his head still looks I would suggest a second opinion. Man, I'm really sorry this has happened to your son and to you. Guest guest
Poor little guy! I feel bad for him. It's amazing you even made it 3-4 weeks w/ that going on! As far as correction, if YOU are satisfied w/ his head shape, then you should be glad he is over w/ the whole process. If you still think there is a problem, you should look at another company if possible. There are lots of helmets/bands out there and maybe you just had a REALLY bad fit/orthotist for the current helmet. I don't blame you if you just bag the whole thing though--that's a tough thing to deal with on such a little guy! Good luck!
