Guest guest
I was bored so I thought I would surf around the pro implant site to see if anything was interesting there, and found an example of why some women with implants are really sickening. This woman said that her implants are paying for themselves and went on to say that she got out of a speeding ticket due to the fact that she unbuttoned her shirt for a traffic cop. I swear sometimes I wonder about some women's morals! Then there was another girl telling everyone to look at her 2 year post implant pictures, so I looked at them, I swear I cannot believe that anyone would want 980cc implants in their body and that they actually could find a Dr who would do this. I wonder what she will do when she needs them removed (if) she does someday. I mean seriously are these Dr's thinking that they are practicing medicine in this way? Gross and disgusted here and happy to be out of that kind of scene! love
Guest guest
Hi, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience! You could definitely see improvement in a short time such as 3-4 weeks, depending on the initial severity of your son's case. Who did you go to for your treatment? My son wore it for 14 weeks, but showed the most improvement within the first month, so I can see how you would see the improvement in a short time... Again, sorry to hear about your treatment Rhonda Collin/DOC*/14wks@7mos/NJ "Look up, and not down; Out and not in; Forward and not back; And lend a hand." - Everett Hale (1822-1909) -----Original Message-----From: maggmobud1025 [mailto:maggmobud1025@...] Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 2:23 PMPlagiocephaly Subject: disgustedMy 7 1/2 month old son has had his helmet for 7 weeks and has only worn it for 3-4 weeks total because of red sores on his forehead that have opened and bled. We were told by the orthotist to keep it off until sores heal. He has adjusted it once due to sores just last week. We had an appointment on Wed with the plastic surgeon and he discharged the helmet saying that he felt did not need the helmet any more. I am happy he doesn't need the helmet any more, but my questions are: 1. Did he really ever need the helmet? 2. Did he get any benefit from the helmet in just a short 3-4 weeks? Has anyone had this same experience? Can you really get some benefit from a helmet in such a short time? Or my greatest fear - Did we just get screwed out of $1100.00? I am just a little frustrated and disgusted with the whole ordeal. For more plagio info
Guest guest
I have heard of babies graduating in 7 weeks or more. I haven't heard of babies graduating only wearing a helmet for 3-4 weeks. I am sorry wore son got sores from the helmet. Where did you go for treatment? Maybe someone in the group has used the same orthotist and can share their experience. Did you take any photos to track progress or did the specialist.
