Guest guest
I've been doing a little holiday reading and have nearly finished reading " Collapse " by Diamond. He explores a number of case studies and explains why societies have collapsed in the past basically thru habitat destruction. Some instructive examples are given how some societies have managed to survive despite limited resources, and in some instances this has occurred thru a top down approach, whereas in others it has been a bottom up approach, or a mixture. I see a parallel here with medicine and how the top down approach is failing ... the primary care provider might be considered part of that habitat that is being destroyed. So, the IMP approach is a grass roots bottom up approach attempting to survive the coming collapse ? -- Graham Chiu http://www.synapsedirect.com Synapse-EMR - innovative electronic medical records system
