Guest guest Posted April 20, 2011 Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 Thank you all for your welcome messages, I really do feel like I am with a group of people who understand...This week I have been trying hard to observe my eating habits by keeping a food diary and although i have done so in the past i have only ever done it until a day when I binge then i stop recording. This time though I have forced myself to keep recording even when it has been uncomfortable and to be honest i have been able to gain some positive insights into not only what I do, but also why i do it. For example it appears I tend to eat on auto pilot (binge) mode when I am tired. It also appears that I don't actually snack at the right times during the day so by the time night time comes I will grab anything that will have me!. So even though i was tempted to be disappointed about not exercising consistently this week, I reminded myself that I had stuck to journaling my eating patterns and that this was as important as the exercise.
