Guest guest
Hello everyone. I have been listening to the podcasts for a little while now, but I'm finally taking 's advice and listening from the beginning. A little about me: I'm 24 and I've been married for three years; I've been with him for nine. I don't have any children, but I'm crazy about my two cats. My husband is graduating from school next month and has been offered a job, so we are moving to New Orleans from Denver. We stayed there last summer for his internship and I'm still undecided on my thoughts about it I'm a court reporting student. I've mostly waitresses the past few years. I recently quit however and I'm glad I did. It made me very unhappy. My goals are to lose weight obviously. But also I simply don't want to feel like a failure. My husband has set a high standard for us. Although we started in the exact same place, he is about to graduate from a very difficult school with a petroleum engineer degree. He worked so hard and will be graduating with a 3.7 GPA. He already has a job waiting for him with a well known company. Great pay, great benefits. And then there is me. I have always been lazy. I'm behind schedule in school. I am no longer working. I feel like .. a failure in every sense. I don't want to let him down and I don't want to let myself down. My family is a family of alcoholics. They expected nothing of me and so I guess I didn't expect much from myself. But I do now and I'm ready for that change. My goal: not just to meet my goals in school, but exceed them. I want people to say " wow... She's doing so great. " I want to lose weight and look amazing. I want people to say, " wow she looks great and seems so happy! " I know these may sound conceited, but they are what I want. I want to be happy and stop wearing my huge coat even when it's hot just to hide my body. I want to wear a bikini and not worry, because I'm young and shouldn't feel so old. I want to show my affection to my husband and not hold back because I'm too busy worrying about my body. I'm moving to a very hot place. I can't hide in my coat anymore. I need to adapt and change is what's going to get me where I want to be. Guest guest
Welcome A'mee - it's good to have you with us!  ________________________________ To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Monday, May 23, 2011 6:29 PM Subject: Introduction  Hi there, everyone. My name is A'mee. I found this group in a kind of roundabout way -- my mom told me about the podcast after it was recommended to her by her dietician. I began listening to the podcasts and... wow. This is the stuff I have needed to work on for a VERY long time. I've done the whole " try every diet plan under the sun " thing (like most here, I'm guessing) and nothing ever sticks. I'll lose 50, gain back 75. Frustrating, to say the least. I think it's no coincidence that I have discovered the group and at this point in my life. I'm in the process of making quite a few life changes, including pursuing my dream of becoming a writer. I look forward to talking to and learning from everyone here. Thanks for having me! Guest guest
Welcome!! Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry® Introduction Hi there, everyone.
