Guest guest
Hi Everyone, In case you couldn't tell, I've been feeling pretty dumpy this week. I had tried to work out yesterday, but after 5 minutes, I simply didn't have it in me. All that inner conflict completely sapped my energy. Today, the sun is shining. In the past 3 weeks, we've only had about 4 days of sunshine. I looked outside to admire the beautiful spring day, and set my intent to do workout to the best of my ability. I did a strength training session interspersed with running. I also recorded the areas where I have made improvements. Here's what I did: - full push-ups (15, previously 12 = 25% improvement) - jump lunges - first time doing these. This is a fairly advanced move. You lunge, then jump, switch legs, and land in lunge position. I did 7 per leg before I almost fell over. - bicep hammer curls (15 lbs, previously 12 lbs = 25% improvement) - tricep dips - overhead shoulder press (15 lbs, previously 12 lbs = 25% improvement) - another kettlebell exercise using a dumbbell - plyometric side jumps - I stretched out my skipping rope into a straight line and then quickly hopped from side-to-side over the rope (100 jumps per side = 200 total jumps, previously 50 jumps per side = 100% improvement!) - stability ball jack knife - a lower ab exercise for which I don't know the name Hope everyone has a great day! Guest guest
Hi Yuna. Great workout! We do jumping lunges at the gym. Killers but they do strengthen your legs. We also do a variation on the side jumps but I loved the idea of jumping over the rope. You can make it higher or lower depending on the difficulty you want. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill-I did an interval of walking for 4 minutes and running for 1. Didn't have time for anything else. Lots of energy today so I may work out with weights this evening! What are all of u doing today? Sent from my iPhone > Hi Everyone, > > In case you couldn't tell, I've been feeling pretty dumpy this week.
