Guest guest
Hey , welcome to the group! Are you recovered from your injury? To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Monday, June 6, 2011 9:42 AM Subject: New here- Â Hello. I don't know if it is custom for Newbies to introduce themselves and say a few words. I'm really glad to be here and meet you all. I'll lurk around a bit and tell you more as I get accustomed to the format of the group. I am in recovery from drinking and I seem to have gradually over the past few years started filling some kind of void with food. I didn't think it was a problem until I had to modify my exercise program due to injury and I realized I couldn't fully control my eating behaviors to match my energy needs. Guest guest
Welcome from another newbie! Well, at least a newbie to posting. I've read the emails for quite a while now, but only recently have stepped from the shadows. Good to hear that you're feeling better. And congratulations on your recovery from drinking! That can be such a difficult addiction to recovery from. It's so easy to hop from one vice to another. Although I've been lucky to never have a serious problem with alcohol, I've dealt with addiction in various forms. It seems that it's always there, lurking in the shadows, just waiting to start another battle. Communicating more about these kinds of struggles has definitely made the ongoing struggle much more manageable. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you!
