Been a While, Checking In

Hey everyone,

It's been a busy time and during the last few weeks of school I definitely

slipped. The past few days have been better. I've cooked more, eaten much

healthier, and I've been keeping up well with daily yoga. Lastly, I went back to

IOWL episode 1. I've listened to 1 - 3 and been good about keeping an IOWL

journal. This is something I've been meaning to do for a while, and I thought

I'd share some of my answers here.

My away from motivations:

I don't want to have the same health problems my grandmother had and my mother

has been getting - knee replacement surgery, hip problems, immobility, and

diabetes. I don't want to worry about fitting into seats or being able to

squeeze past chairs and tables. I don't want to have to buy more clothes in plus

sizes.

My towards motivations:

I want to wake up in the morning feeling energetic and looking forward to my

day. I want energy throughout the day. I want to enjoy my work and feel

confident in my ability to do it. I want to cook healthy, delicious food. I want

to feel strong and fit. I want to have close friendships. I want to be in a

stable, happy relationship. I want to have a positive outlook on life.

Good for you!  So happy to hear your back!  Anytime I go off track, the IOWL

podcast always bring me back to where I need to be.
