Guest guest
Over the last 30 days I have posted a lot of messages that I never see. I know that Constance stated that she was also having this problem. Has anyone else noticed this? It's Soooo frustrating! Am I doing something wrong? Guest guest
I've seen a lot of messages from you recently. (Well worth reading, at that.) Though sometimes they seem like they might have been sent quite a while before I saw them. It happens sometimes with Yahoo mail, that there's a a delay.... Is it possible that some are getting caught by your spam filter? You can also check the messages online, to see if they got through there. Use the links at the bottom of the message.... (Sending this to the group and directly to you--I deleted the name of the group in the subject to see if that makes a difference if it's a spam filter issue....) ________________________________ To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Tue, May 3, 2011 10:36:03 AM Subject: Help! Guest guest
Thank you ! Maybe I haven't seen them! Hope you have a great time dancing this year. I remember last year when you went to the music festival and how much you enjoyed it and didn't you meet someone there named ? Guest guest
LOL!!! That's right!! So, it's one of these festivals where you " camp " --as in, you pitch a tent right next to 1500-2000 or so of your closest friends. Several of your closest friends go to bed very late. Several other closest friends bring small children, who wake up very early. Several others (possibly with some overlap) snore. Loudly. But to get a room in the hotel, you basically have to book a year in advance. This year, I decided to try the " wouldn't it be cool if " strategy. Wouldn't it be cool if a room opened up for at least the first night, when most of my buddies wouldn't be there yet? I could have at least one good night's sleep, and A GOOD SHOWER (not in some locker room with no privacy and unreliable hot water)... Within two days, I saw a notice that someone would only be able to come for the second night after all, and did someone want the reservation for the first night--otherwise they'd have to lose their full reservation.... Now, it's true that I set this " wouldn't it be cool if " intent knowing that I'd seen similar notices in past years. But it also meant that the minute I saw the notice, I knew it would be FOR ME, if I didn't dither. I was the second person to respond--and the first person decided not to take it. :-) Coincidence? Fate? Doesn't matter--I'm going to sleep well that night!! LOL! ________________________________ To: " insideoutweightloss " <insideoutweightloss > Sent: Tue, May 3, 2011 10:48:35 AM Subject: Re: Help! Where are my messages? Â Thank you ! Most web-based e-mail seems to filter out your own posts. Meaning, you won't see it unless somebody responds. That keeps your inbox from having to store extra stuff, I guess. Guest guest
Fantastic !! I am so happy that you have that room for one night. I know what you mean when you say that one night's sleep will make a big difference. And positive intent has worked for me again and again. I have to relax and put myself in a very peaceful place and really not care one way or the other and it works. But if even a bit of mind comes into it or a bit of " I hope... " it's not so strong then. Thanks so much for sharing!! This brought a smile to my face. :-) To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Tuesday, May 3, 2011 11:15 AM Subject: Re: Re: Help! Where are my messages?
