Woo hoo!!  I LOVE the kettle bells & barbell -- can't tell you how much better

my arms look since I started lifting.

You're must be amazin'!

So I did my first two intro workouts..

first was OH squats (no weights) then 35lbs kettlebell deadlift done for

20 mins.. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9, etc per minute

second was

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

each 65 lbs barbell

then burpees

OY!

ps - I HATE burpees!

my rear end doesn't  'snap under' like everyone elses -- so it's always

struggle to get those feet back under me once they've gone out!

Colleen - nah.. I look like barbapapa (or shmoo).. hehehe.. I didn't

love the burpees.. when you're starting, the crossfit guy said " fall

down, get up " is the goal.. so I looked like a 90 year old being knocked

down over and over..

I also can't get my legs back up properly.. not sure if it's strength or

my gut.. either way... hopefully I can improve. :)

I am thinking of putting off the rest of my intro classes until after my

races as they kinda expect you to leave it all on the floor and that means

I can't run the next day. :(

My races are in a month, so it's ok. :)
