,

Consistency is one of the reasons I'm on SparkPeople. I don't track my food, but

I'm fairly good at tracking my exercise. And at the very least, I log in every

day. Sometimes I start feeling down on myself that I'm not doing enough, or I'm

not doing the right things, or [insert your favorite whine here]. And then the

end of the month comes, and SparkPeople remembers that I showed up almost every

day. I get an award for consistency, when I'd already forgotten how consistent

I've been.

Since you're already a member there, maybe you can use logging in as your first

consistency goal. Once that's in place, work on other things like more

consistent exercise, and build from there....

When eating healthy it's not the eating part that is so hard for me. It's the

consistency part. I do well for a week, and then something happens and I go off

track for 3 to 4 days. Those three to four days seem to cause a lot of damage

and it get's depressing.

Anyway, I am back to listening. I need to make this a priority and care enough

about myself to make the time to make the correct decision and to work out.

Back to basics....again.
