Guest guest
I really like that too. I woke up sick today so my body has really made the choice for me. But I really like what you said. Thanks, Sent from my iPhone > My intent for today is to slow down. I am a very fast person. I respond quickly regardless if it's to a conversation, email or thought. Guest guest
LOL!! I'm glad I peaked at my email and saw this earlier in the day. Had one of those work situations that was driving me crazy. Wrote a carefully worded, but still strong email that I carefully did NOT add any recipients to. (Nothing like accidentally hitting send when you're not sure you should...) I think it was the thought of your intent that kept me from hitting send every time I came back to the draft. Sure enough, later in the day I got an email that explained at least part of the situation. I still need to find a way to deal with the overall problem. But I'm glad I didn't hit send over something that was an honest misunderstanding.... (My intent is to find a creative solution which does not involve either bitchiness or homicide!! LOL!) ________________________________ To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Tue, May 17, 2011 1:21:04 PM Subject: My intent for today My intent for today is to slow down. I am a very fast person. Guest guest
you have me cracking up!   Good for you on the email. I do the same thing. See an email and immediately start with my responce and hit send or reply to all...there always seem to be a better way to handle it.  Besides, people know I reply right away, maybe if I delay it, they will know something is up and rethink it on their own and come up with a solution....here's to wishing! >To: insideoutweightloss >Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2011 11:12 AM >Subject: Re: My intent for today > > > >LOL!! Guest guest
I love this...! , like you, I tend to react too quickly. I want to slow down as well and stop and take a breath before I respond to someone and let my emotions take over. This is how I'm choosing to think of it: I have a limited amount of words for today. With that in mind, everything that comes out of my mouth must be something I consider very important and significant to me. I don't want to waste my " word count " on arguing over petty things with people that don't matter to me, talking just to ease an awkward situation, etc. It's like I can't go past my quota. I'm hoping this will help me really think before I speak/act. Hope everyone has a great day! > > you have me cracking up! > > > >To: insideoutweightloss > >Sent: Tuesday, May 17, 2011 11:12 AM > >Subject: Re: My intent for today > > > > > > > >LOL!!
