Subject: Intention to eat at the table...

I had an intention to eat at least 5 meals this week at the table. So

far I've had 3 - dinner Monday thru today. And, I've ridden my bike

for 16 out of 21 days in June, even if it was just a few miles on the

trainer. I've also had a few thoughts(realizations?) about food

rolling around in my head that I may post later....maybe.

Well, I have a 300-mile bicycle ride coming up in a little more than a

month. I need to get some miles in training, otherwise I'll be TOAST.

It ended up being longer than I expected, so now I'm not sure I want

to post it...

and he's doing it for charity / Make A Wish foundation (nothing cooler!) -- that

would have to be a pretty motivating point too!

Colleen - yes, doing these events for fundraising is life changing. I

currently run with Team in Training and I have to say that if anyone ever

wants to do an endurance event that doing it for a cause.. wow!

Eldred - how much do you have to raise? Training and fundraising is

overwhelming but worth it.

I *thought* it was $750, but I just looked and it's $900. They raised it in the

past couple of years and I didn't realize it. I ride this event with another

friend. I've reached my minimum collection, but she hasn't. If anyone is so

inclined to give, I'd appreciate if you could donate to her efforts instead of

mine. Her donation site is www.wam300.net

I wish there was a way to tie the request to a healthy eating strategy

somehow...<g>

Thanks!
