I used to drive home, feeling stressed from my work day, and think, " I'll have a big dinner to make me feel better. " And then I'd stress about over-eating. Now, if I come home distressed, I think about, what actually works to make me feel better? Laying in my bed with the lights low, reading, a bath, a cry, a laugh?
