One thing I know I really need to work on is positive thinking, so I thought I'd share some good things with the group. I went into Topshop yesterday, to look at bags. I saw a cute dress, decided to try it on and it actually looked good! Dresses are notoriously difficult for me, so this was a big win. I made an amazingly delicious salad for lunch today. It was spinach, shrimp, and mango with lime dressing. I was SO ridiculously happy while I was eating it because it was one of the greatest things I've ever tasted. And it was healthy and I made it myself. I've been noticing in the grocery store lately that I don't crave the same terrible foods I used to. I used to want ALL THE JUNK FOOD and ALL THE PROCESSED FOODS. These days it is much easier for me to walk past the unhealthy stuff. I see a bag of Doritos and I just don't want 'em. Yay for progress! I find I often desire the healthiest thing on the menu.. even when the little devil on my shoulder says " you know you are not on a real diet, so you can eat whatever you want until Monday! You've experienced that change in yourself, felt the difference in eating healthy, lovingly prepared food and now that gem is yours FOREVER for you to call upon.
