Welcome to the group!

When I first found the podcasts, I wouldn't listen to more than three new ones

each week--but I'd leave everything on my iPod so I could shuffle through the

ones I'd already listened to. That seemed to give a good balance between moving

forward and getting the most out of each one.

Welcome!

I play the podcasts on a loop by the pair or per three to fall asleep to ;-)

Wow,no offence meant to , but when I've tried to listen that way, I've

always been asleep before she gets to the " let's go inside " part. Personally, I

really have to treat each listening session as a meditation during which I put

other thoughts aside, and give my full, alert attention.Otherwise, it just

becomes noise and I get nothing out of it.

Actually, she mentions occasionally that some listeners fall asleep to the

podcasts and wake up implementing the concepts automatically.... So I don't

think she'd take offense.

My general pattern now that I'm caught up is to listen the first time while

doing something (usually housework, so whenever talks about sending out

energy to other listeners, picture me and my mop!!), and the next time I listen

in a more focused way. This means that when I listen " for real " , my mind is

already primed to listen for certain things.

With podcasts I've already listened to, time and place don't matter as much--but

I do sort of set an intent before I listen... Like if I'm falling asleep, or I'm

in a noisy place where I might not catch every word, I basically tell my

conscious mind that it's OK to miss stuff--this time my subconscious is doing

the listening.

My name's , and I'm an IOWL podcast junkie....
