Guest guest
My name is . Hi everyone, I " accidentally " came across the IOWL group.mid November and I am so glad I did. The sessions by are awesome! Thank you, . A couple months earlier I joined a TOPS group here in Ottawa. It seems to me that ever since I hit puberty I have been overweight, not my slim fit beautiful self (coincided it seems with sexual abuse i experienced when i was eleven years old). My highest weight was 212. I am 5ft8. Once just a few years back I got to within 5 lbs of my ideal weight. I was too scared to go the rest of the way... I have been on a weight roller coaster all my life it seems. I want to share what I am learning here with my TOPS group. Next session I will go with slips of paper to give everyone so they can look up the podcasts, group etc. I believe it is so very important to do one's inner work around losing weight which is what we are all doing for working thru 's podcast. participating here and sharing our journey with others reinforces our motivation and helps keep me on track. I will be 61 in Janaury. I am convinced that being physically active is key as well as not losing sight of my " dream " which helps us to articulate early on. I find that by taking notes of the podcasts allows me to go back to them more often than listening to the whole podcast again. They are like a quick reference. I just rejoined the gym and do enjoy doing weight training. I prefer to do my cardio outdoors except when the weather is really poor. That's enough for now, except that I really want to thank for all her hard work and generosity in putting out her podcasts each week. When I did the third one, I found it so in-depth and very useful to get a sense of all the parts of me that play a part in who I am. I know from experience that putting together a lesson like that is hard work and requires a disciplined mind. Plus each one is loaded with a sense of her encouragement and support. Guest guest
welcome to our group! I'm also thankful to for sharing so much of herself in each of her podcasts and helping us so much. I have come a long way as a result of all of her help. Good luck to you! ________________________________ To: " insideoutweightloss " <insideoutweightloss > Sent: Sunday, December 4, 2011 8:49 PM Subject: Re: Hello from Ottawa, Canada and thank you to .
