Guest guest
Corinna I so much agree!!! I love hearing you praise that amazing body of yours. Listening to has above all taught me to love who I am NOW! And it feels so good that I often feel like doing a happy dance. I am more likely these days to appreciate what my body can do and I find that most days now I like who I am. To turn it around like your statement - how many women successfully lose 50 lbs??? :-) > > > (nevermind that even ideal weighted people don't run marathons for the > > most part.. heheheh) > > > > I have a goal to complete a marathon in 2013. It's on my bucket list. I figured, I can do a half-marathon in 2012, then a full when I'm 50. <g> > > Eldred > >
Guest guest
Chiming in late here--first of all, welcome, Ina! I find that podcasts 2 & 3 are great for motivation, but try going back to #4 for the guided journey to find the gift.... #3 actually has a great guided journey for identity. Who are you? What are you like? What are your feelings, beliefs, thoughts, actions? This can be quite helpful, even if you don't isolate the gift. Viv, I also get different reactions most times (either to #4 or to the for-sale version from 's site). I don't view it as a one-time tool that will give me THE cause--it's more something I can do when something is bothering me and I can't figure out what. I do get some recurring themes--like balance, or stabilizing my energy input/output. That fear of getting " found out " really rings true, too... though after over 2 years of IOWL, I'm finally starting to feel a little more secure about my own worth.... >________________________________ > >To: insideoutweightloss >Sent: Tuesday, November 8, 2011 3:25 PM >Subject: Re: Hello from London > > > >Hello and Welcome > >I have never categorically pinned it down to something specific. Each time I do the guided journey it has a different edge, but I feel renewed and released when I do it. Not having a specific answer won't hold you back on the journey - it can be just recognising that it was about the gift of something positive so that you can stop hating yourself for the past choices you have made. > >Mine have been around comfort from feeling inadequate and unsure. Guest guest
Dear , Thanks for the email and the information. I will add #4 to the list. I also find #8 very useful, so I added it to my key episodes.  It is a long way, but I think I finally found what I can relate to. I hope it works for all of us Ina ________________________________ To: " insideoutweightloss " <insideoutweightloss > Sent: Saturday, 12 November 2011, 13:58 Subject: Re: Re: Hello from London  Chiming in late here--first of all, welcome, Ina!
