Still curious? :-)

I took a look. Wasn't sure if I was interested--but there was a phrase [that I

can't actually remember at the moment!!] that jumped out at me and convinced me

to sign up.

Today's synergy...

I read 's post, quoting this from 's book:

" If you continue as you are now what will your future look like? "   Take a peak

at one year from now.  How do you feel about yourself?  What opportunites have

you missed?  What's the state of your relationships?  How is your health?

Zoom out five years dwon the road.  Assumibng nothing has changed, what does

your life look like?  How do you feel?  How's your self-esteem?  Now imagine

maintaining the status quo for another ten years. "

Then I listened to today's challenge--which was to picture what your future

looks like...

One interesting twist from this mastery challenge--he gave the example of being

thrown in a river. If you don't know how to swim, all you can do is struggle to

stay afloat. If you do know how to swim, you know what to do.

This made me smile--realizing that, both literally and figuratively, I know how

to swim. I have lived near water long enough to have some idea of when to

swim--and when to just float and let the power of the current work in my favor.

, this made you smile, and now you have made me smile..... I told you it

was synergistic! :-)

I generally think I am sort of cowardly, and afraid to face my deeper

questions... I suspect this is the point! I NEED this.

I totally believe that if I had already faced these questions, then I would

not be using food to suppress my feelings! I would have done a better job

maintaining the fantastically successful weight loss that I did maintain for

quite a while!

Onwards!

I do not know how I found the class. Not sure if I was lurking on

this site or what. BUT I signed up for it. I cannot believe that I

did it but I did! Sounds interesting however. The first question I

had to go to bed on.

You may have found it when I pointed it out the other day? ;-) It¹s not

easy, but the timing is too delicious to not give it a go!
