Guest guest
I don't blog about weight loss, but I blog about family money management and my challenges with it. One of my recent blog posts was about how I struggle with both and how (for me) the two are linked. In fact for me they are so linked, that it's astonishing me that someone can struggle with one or the other, but not both. I also have been thinking as I work through Full-Filled that a program of this type would work well with financial management, since so much of the same baggage is attached. I've also been discussing cheaper ways to eat healthy, so there is some crossover. payingourway.blogspot.com Come on over and throw me a comment! > ** > > > > > If anyone here blogs about their struggles and successes I'd love to add > you to my reader feed--an unfortunate term, though I do gobble up books > (groan). > > If you are willing to share with the group, please send us your links! > > Chloe > >
Guest guest
Hi, Geneen Roth has written a book about just how food and money struggles are related: Lost and Found, Unexpected Revelations about Food and Money. I never relealized how my " issues " with both are related till I read it. As always with Geneen's work: one eye opener after another! Guest guest
Amelia I love the name of your blog--it says so much more than the name taken literally! I just joined it via GFC and can't wait to start reading, but please forgive me if I don't begin commenting right away. I have fallen behind on my FF homework and need to catch up to that first so I can contribute more to the FF and Yahoo group. Guest guest
Haha, no worries Glad you like the name... I pondered it for several days before setting up the blog. It was supposed to be a collaborative effort between me and my husband, but I write a lot more than he does!! Do you have a blog? Karin -- Thanks for the heads-up about the book! I'll have to take a look at that. It sounds like it might have some insight for me. > ** > > > Amelia I love the name of your blog--it says so much more than the name > taken literally! > > I just joined it via GFC and can't wait to start reading, but please > forgive me if I don't begin commenting right away. Guest guest
I do have a blog, which I started several months ago to write out my IOWL homework. Right now it needs some serious editing before I make it public, but I'll be sure to open it up to the group when I do. Guest guest
Amelia, I added your blog to my feed. So many times I have seen the link between my financial mis-management and my weight mis-management. In fact, I'm planning a series on my blog called Food and Money. I have a weight loss blog at mythunderthighs.com. I've been writing there for about a year now, so there's a good bit of content. I also just started another blog called Elisha Learns to Fly<http://elishalearnstofly.blogspot.com/>to talk about all of the other parts of my life that need improvement, because life is about more than the number on the scale. There's not much of anything there yet, but my intention is to write about my hopes and dreams, and what I'm doing to achieve them.
