Hello everyone! I just wanted to say how amazing my journey has been since I

really started working this program. I've been listening for years but I never

really stopped to " do the work. " A few months ago I began to go one podcast a

week and keep a journal and have felt profound change. This has been a life long

struggle for me and the thought that I might be able to truly resolve my issues

around food and body image... it is beyond exciting!!

A little about me: I am a 31 year old visual artist. I have never had a serious

issue with being over weight but I have constantly yo yoed between being a

healthy weight and about 15 pounds heavier than I want to be. I have struggled

with anorexia and binge eating among other things. At my worst I had to join

Food Addicts Anonymous and follow the most barren and extreme eating plan. It

was the only thing besides fasting that gave me peace from my obsessive thoughts

about food and my self judgement... until I really started following this

program! I am not out of the woods by any means but I know with all my heart I

am on the rite path... and boy does that feel amazing!

I would really love to have a weekly group to meet with and I thought... why not

reach out and see if there is anyone on this list, or if any of you fine folks

know anyone in the Asheville, NC area that might want a IOWL buddy? I know it's

a long shot but I wanted to take a little chance and see.

Thank you for all that you do!!! <3

Much love to you all and may we all find peace with food and ourselves,

Joti,

I wish I lived closer.  i think that we would find much in common in our

particular weight struggles.

It is so nice to hear you say that you have some peace and freedom from your

obsessive thougths about food and self-judgment.  That gives me a bit of hope.

Looking forward to following your success.

  Livingston
