I listened to Episode 1 today and wanted to share my thoughts - Episode 1 talks about creating a lasting AWAY FROM Motivation base by asking 5 questions: 1. What unwanted behaviors do you have? I eat alone, I hide food, I hoard food, I eat secretly. 2. What unwanted symptoms do you have? My weight creeps up year after year; I constantly think about where, what and when to eat next. 3. What are the consequences of the unwanted behaviors and symptoms? My clothes don't fit & I have to buy new ones in larger sizes; I don't sleep well; I have limited interaction with other people. 4. Who else is affected by these unwanted behaviors and symptoms? My husband, my coworkers, my friends and probably everyone I pass in the street with a grumpy look on my face. 5. What will my future look like if I don't change my behaviors today? I am afraid of becoming sedentary and becoming dependent on medication due to lifestyle related disease. OMG - just writing this down makes me want to go outside and take a walk - with a smile on my face! Thank you so much for being here and allowing me to share my thoughts! Have a Good Day. b.
