Your messages have been insightful and eye opening for me. As I hit the mid way point of week one I wanted to post my Away From motivations. Any input, suggestions or comments are welcome and appreciated. I want to move away from sneaking food at work I want to move away from over eating until I am stuffed and o not feel good I want to move away from food being on my mind constantly I want to move away from thinking about the next meal beofre the present meal is over. I want to move away from the control that food has OVER my mind and thoughts I want to move away from feeling so different from everyone else I want to move away from ugly unflattering clothes I want to move away from only being able to wear 1/4 of the clothes in my closet I want to move away from have so little to choose from to wear to work I want to move away from having students have to pull thier seats up when I walk through/around a classroom I want to move away from worrying aobut what I can fit into and not fit into I want to move away from defeating and mean self talk I want to move away from looking and feeling old and tired I think going through this process is a kinder, gentler way to deal with weight loss than anything I have done in the past. I have done pretty well in my eating but I am not focusing on that in the typical hard-core-diet-don't-eat-that mentality. This is, just as the program says, from the inside out. Maybe we've been going about this backwards all along - tackling these issues, though not a pretty picture, feels good. ***********Mercy*********** Does this look like Spam or Phishing email? http://security.smrcy.com/spam.asp This email contains information which may be PROPRIETARY IN NATURE OR OTHERWISE PROTECTED BY LAW FROM DISCLOSURE and is intended only for the use of the addresses(s) named above. Guest guest
Joyce--Good job! Your statememts are authentic and specific. So many of them are mine, too! Doing the " toward " statements will be enlightening!
