Guest guest
First of all, I would like to thank you for all the support, kind welcoming words. Your messages have been insightful and eye opening for me. As I hit the mid way point of week one I wanted to post my Away From motivations. Any input, suggestions or comments are welcome and appreciated. I want to move away from sneaking food at work I want to move away from over eating until I am stuffed and o not feel good I want to move away from food being on my mind constantly I want to move away from thinking about the next meal beofre the present meal is over. I want to move away from the control that food has OVER my mind and thoughts I want to move away from feeling so different from everyone else I want to move away from ugly unflattering clothes I want to move away from only being able to wear 1/4 of the clothes in my closet I want to move away from have so little to choose from to wear to work I want to move away from having students have to pull thier seats up when I walk through/around a classroom I want to move away from worrying aobut what I can fit into and not fit into I want to move away from defeating and mean self talk I want to move away from looking and feeling old and tired I think going through this process is a kinder, gentler way to deal with weight loss than anything I have done in the past. I have done pretty well in my eating but I am not focusing on that in the typical hard-core-diet-don't-eat-that mentality. This is, just as the program says, from the inside out. Maybe we've been going about this backwards all along - tackling these issues, though not a pretty picture, feels good.
