I know we really don't talk about food on here but I made a discovery I just had

to share. If anyone is craving pasta (like I do all the time) substitute

spaghetti squash!!!! I just tried it last night and it's AMAZING!!!!!!!

Thanks for the spaghetti squash tip.... although the texture is not the

same. I like Fiber Gourmet light penne pasta (I like the penne shape the

best--less sauce on my shirt accidentally that way). Because it uses

resistant starch as a fiber source, it doesn't have that horrible texture

of some of the whole grain pastas, has 18 grams of fiber per serving and

lower carbs and it's really good.

It's a godsend. I need 50-60 grams of fiber a day to keep everything

processing through my digestive system, not the typical intake of 25-30 g,

and as much as I love bran cereals to supplement fruits and veggies, this

is a great other way to do that.
