Guest guest
Thanks for the boost. As for the 24th I really don't think that I will be able to make it, just a ton of things going on here, but I am determined to make it in June to the WMTC opening!!!!!!!!!!!! And I feel that I am not quite ready so that is why I feel I need to get into the training mode for june. I hope you understand. I can't wait to see you all again. Congratulations on getting back to the basic workouts! I know how hard it must be to stay motivated, since it seems like you are starting all over. But, just try to concentrate on where you are right now in your journey and take it one day at a time Are you going to come to QVC on the 24th? We'd love to see you again and we're going to try to get everyone together after the 11am workout to go to lunch! You should join us if you can

Recovery from back surgery is very frustrating. You are doing great. Every little bit of exercise is good for your body. You should be very proud of yourself to be at this point so soon after surgery. Elena
Guest guest
Elena, You always have such a great way with words, you always make me feel good about , well everything. Your such an isspiration for me. I hope to be keeping in touch with the group now that things are a little calmer. BTW just wanted to let you know that about a week before my surgery my husband had Lasik done and he is so happy, and he looks good too. When he had this done I thought of you and have been wanting to ask how you are doing. he still has some off center bluriness but the Dr. says that may take a long while to clear up. hope all is well with you. Guest guest
Susi, Thank you so much. I am doing well and determined to get 110 % better!!! Dr.'s have told me that what ever feeling and strength that I have 1 year after surgery is pretty much all I am going to get back. With the nerve serpression that I had from the disc for almost 5 months it caused a awful amount of numbness and the siattic nerve only heals about a milimeter a month. When I have the surgery I couldn't walk on my tip toes with out colapsing on the right one, I only have about 10% of my reflexes in my right foot but it is getting better and I am trying everything from PT, a home program all the way to TB. thank you for your support. Guest guest
Sherry in Toledo: Hi .I went threw this my self. SSI turned me down every time so I got a lawyer for the last go-around and finally got SSI. Part of the reason they gave it to me was not just stills but all the other things that came with it like fibro and major joint problems. Stills just by its self dose not fit SSI's round peg in a round hole thought pattern. It was almost a three year fight with them but I did get it after it went to the judge. This was after voc rehab and SSI's own roomy came out in my favor fact he was stronger in my getting SSI then my own docs were and they were 1005 behind me. so good luck and hold on as one thing I believe they do is makes it hard for people so they do give up as it weeds out the ones that really need verses the ones that think they do but that is just my opinion of how ssi thinks Hugs all Marty the redneck dragon fighter I have also been trying to get SSDisability and keep getting denied even though my doctor has told them that as of right now I cannot work and he is not sure if I will ever be able to work. So things have been pretty hectic. I think my next step is to get a lawyer. Hopefully they can get the ball rolling in my favor. Well, now my hands are starting to hurt, so I am going to go for now. I will try not to leave so much time between posts next time. I hope everyone is having pain free days. Sherry, Toledo
Guest guest
I'm reading full-filled right now. I just finshed the assignments for week one. It hasn't been a week yet but I'm anxious to go further and have started reading week 2. My move towards motivations are : I want to move towards eating moderatley, I want to move towards more flexibilty, moving more, feeling fit and vital. I want to walk with the posture of a dancer. I want to move towards a place where I'm free to think of a variety of things (not just food and diet). Now I need to figure out my objections : /
