Guest guest
Is it bizarre that I like to feel SUPER full, not just full? I don't like eating so there's still some room left in my stomach. I'd rather eat two small meals early on in the day and one HUGE meal at the end of my day and feel so satiated that I have to lean back and sit around for 20 minutes 'cause I'm so full and cozy that I can't move. Eating passed the point of being full can feel good, especially when you're eating healthy stuff. I like to use my last meal of the day as my big treat where I gorge. Today I ate a HUGE chicken salad and two servings of whole grain cereal. I'm basking in the feeling right now. Granted, it's only 3:00 pm and I probably won't eat anything else for the rest of the night... but damn. I like this feeling. Anybody else thoroughly enjoy the feeling of relaxing and having your stomach packed up? - Krissy
Guest guest
I actually do not like the feeling of being super full (Full - yes). What I really hate is feeling hungry. I hate that feeling. It is the clincher in this journey that I can seem to get past. I eat very healthy, I just eat too much of healthy. I have been trying to reframe hunger. Still searching... > > Is it bizarre that I like to feel SUPER full, not just full? I don't like eating so there's still some room left in my stomach. Guest guest
Dear , It's amazing that you caught on that my pleasure was coming from a sense of rebellion. I was actually thinking about this while listening to the podcasts over the past couple weeks. I kept in mind 's tapping technique, and I thought about locating what I was really afraid of: I'm afraid of letting other people win when it comes to my body. I work so hard to keep it fit and healthy most of the time, and yet I still hear judgments from everyone. My legs and belly are basically like rock muscle! But I still get ragged on about how " big " they are. Sometimes when I've eaten, I've thought: " I'm going to eat this piece of cake, even if it's bad for me, because I can do whatever I want. " Sometimes when it's over I may not feel physically great, but mentally, I feel good because it's a small triumph. I'm working on coming around to the idea that I'm letting the judgmental people in my life win by eating that cake, or whatever food it is at the time. What I do has nothing to do with their happiness, or getting back at them, or anything. I'm actually keeping myself from getting the body I want because I'm holding a grudge and holding onto fear. Agh, that felt good to tell someone. Anyway, it's amazing that you're so intuitive and could sense all that from my previous message. Sometimes I believe really is right: we're all connected. Much love, Krissy > >> > >> Is it bizarre that I like to feel SUPER full, not just full? I don't like eating so there's still some room left in my stomach.
