Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I had another 0.25ml put in and so far so good, (I knew I needed more fill when I was able to eat steak with Salsa and Béarnaise sauce, my first steak in just over 2 years!) my restriction is tight now, however not unbearable. In saying that, I have only had liquids and some mash, and that's what I will continue to do for the rest of the day. Tonight will be the real challenge, it's Mum's birthday and Dad's ordering in (my personal Fav) Chinese! When I visited the Doc yesterday, he pointed out that my band is different to all his other patients (remember I swapped Doc's) Apparently mine is not the Swiss band, it's an intro....something or Inver...something or an intra...something, So if anyone knows what type of band Dumbrell uses I would be very interested so I can look it up and find out more. I wonder what nationality my band is if not Swiss.....fiery Italian, mad Irish, laid back Aussie???? Who knows! Thinking of you all Fi -----Original Message-----From: SydBand [mailto:SydBand ] On Behalf Of MelSent: Tuesday, 22 April 2008 9:42 AMTo: SydBand Subject: Morning all... Well... I hope it is just the holidays that is keeping everyone quiet! I am sure that you are all OK and that the holidays, work or whatever is keeping you busy. Nothing happening with me... apart from me going backwards with the weight since getting a bit of fill out. I am regretting it now - wish that my guys would take just 0.15ml out rather than the big 0.25ml... I can now eat anything and everything except for bbq meat and chicken is still a bit difficult. The meat still has to be in a curry or a sauce. Right, I am off for a coffee with the girls. Hope everyone is well and having a good week - wish the blessed rain would buzz off... no good for the people with kids on hols! Mel

Guest guest
Hey Atrayu You know I have never heard anyone say anything bad about having a band now I think of it. I had a lady at work tell everyone about her "new exercise and diet routine" big noting herself. I will show her. :)Its funny when you tell people the different reactions of it all. Although I think Jay is right. Some people are just jealous. And good on you for taking the steps. I cant speak highly of it all and Im not even banded yet. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I can't get enough of the podcasts! I'm so grateful to and this group! I feel like a whole new life has begun for me!  I listened to the podcast on reframing limiting beliefs a few times today and love the affirmation:  I am easily slimmer every day.  I love this new outlook. I also love how made the connection between this affirmation and the law of attraction. As I take in this new reality, I realize it’s coming true and very quickly.  I also realize that my earlier goals were always so limited and negative (I will not binge, I’ll accept that I always have to struggle with eating, I may never reach 120 pounds, etc.). Now I see that with this new affirmation, whatever weight I reach will be my best, most natural weight. And all along the way, I’m enjoying the ride. I’m feeling terrific, satisfied, and energetic. I love what I’m eating and how my body has changed.  It’s really all about changing my beliefs. I've found that connecting with this group, journaling and blogging have also done a lot to cement the new beliefs.  Today my French guests come and I’ve been really meditating on how calm, centered and on track I will be during the whole visit. It’s going to be easy and fun! Tonight I'm going to listen to the compulsion blowout, appetite adjustor and conflict resolution tapes before bed. I think they will help me enjoy this visit fully! Hope you are all doing well and welcome to all of the new members (though I'm new too).
