I noticed something recently that got me thinking if it sort of works as a trigger: 2 days ago, I was laying down and noticed that my stomach was sort of protruding in a way that it didn't 2 years ago. I didn't like it, but I didn't freak out or anything. But half an hour later, I was rummaging through the kitchen looking for all the extra tasty things that I could find. I've never thought about it before, but I think that what got that started was the fact that I was feeling sort of bad about myself. I noticed it again last night when I was feeling sort of bummed about the way I had been eating that day... next thing you know I'm having slice after slice of bread and butter. Does this ring a bell with anyone else? If so, how do you " redirect " yourself so you don't get into a sabotaging rut? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
