Guest guest
Hi , Funny to hear from you. I actually corresponded with you a few months ago via email about my daughter . I read your blog often, it actually had me in tears the other night. I love your videos and background music. We go through so much emotion with our children. I was so impressed by how many pieces of equipment has had an opportunity to use already. We are still working on our Gator walker. is walking a little bit unsupported now, but the low tone makes it challenging. My biggest concerns these days are where she is at cognitively and her communication- I feel like we should be further ahead with a communication system, then I remind myself she is only 2. Anyway, thanks for the email- hope to keep in touch. I read your blog often. We are heading to Cape Cod for vacation tomorrow. Sincerely, Subject: RE: Another Newbie! Guest guest
I'm also in Massachusetts! My daughter doesn't have PMG, but has severe developmental delay due to a chromosome microdeletion and translocation. She is almost 18!!! Wow! I am on this list because I work with a family whose child has PMG, also here in MA. We are also headed to the Cape next week and then will be spending time at Dream Day on Cape Cod the following week. If in you're in MA, check out this link and apply to be a part of it for next year: http://www.dreamdayoncapecod.org/ I'll be happy to share our experiences if you contact me off list. Thanks, Jeanne Another Newbie! Hi Everyone! My name is . I'm the mother of a 2 year old, , who was born with BPP and macrocephaly. She has global developmental delays, low tone, non verbal. He is G-tube fed nd also has very low tone. We have a great EI program in our area with one of the best visiting nurses. In the last 15 months, we have spent more than half of them living out of a suit case at Childrens in Boston. It is good to have a local resource for questions. I will keep an eye out for replies and maybe we can connect in the future. Joe
Guest guest
Hi all! I'm just 4 episodes into 's podcasts - but they're really helping! I've struggled with my weight my whole life - I managed to drop almost 50lbs two years ago but since then have put most of it back on again. I know exactly WHAT I need to do to lose weight, but have always struggled with resisting temptation, and I'm like an alcoholic with food - one cookie isn't enough, better to have none than one, because one will always lead to more. Anyway, with the help of 's podcasts, I've managed to resist for a whole 4 days (again, like an alcoholic, I totally keep track) and I'm hoping that I'll be able to keep it going! I'm loving the fact that there are enough podcasts available for me to be able to listen to one each day for months! Charlotte x
