Subject: Can I hear a HELL YEAH!?

Today marks Day 15 of my IOWL journey. I know exactly what I'm supposed to eat,

and how I'm supposed to exercise, but for the past year I've been struggling

with actually achieving this.

Last night, I was SO tempted to pop down to the store and grab some food for a

mini binge, just some chocolate biscuits or something. The scales have barely

moved this week and this is usually a trigger for me to throw my hands up and

say " oh! it's hopeless, why bother, just have a cookie! "

But as the decision to head to the store was building inside me, I thought of

. And of the pendulum. And of self correcting. And of coping mechanisms.

What I needed was a distraction. So I went and weeded the garden.

And as my reward, this morning I got that movement on the scales and have broken

through a weight barrier that I've been fighting with for aaages now.

So thanks ! And thanks the rest of you - I love getting this group's emails

in my inbox every day, even if I'm not very vocal. :)

That is fantastic!! I love because you self-corrected and trusted in the

process, and chose feeling good over time instead of a binge, the scale moved!!

Beautiful!!!
