Guest guest
I hear you . I went out and bought some Saw Palmetto at a local health food store. It is supposed to be good for prostate health, and as an aging male that sounds like a good idea. The main reason I got it however was that it is purported to lower libido. I am hoping it works as this will help me be more relaxed and less frustrated. I get a feeling of inner tension and it is tied to sexual tension. For reasons I don't want to go into this has become more and more important to me and I have decided to try something different. I am committed to my wife and I don't want frustration to be a source of tension between us. I think this may help with some of the escape feelings I find myself chasing with food. It is definitely worth a try. Â You know you are messed up with food when you say to yourself if you just eat this healthy portion right now on Saturday you can eat a jar of peanut butter and purge. Â How crazy is that? Â Anyway I am trying to just let this crawling anxiety be and not act out with food to numb it away. Â I thought maybe just putting my intent out there to not restrict, not binge, not purge, not over exercise might give me some strength in this moment. Guest guest
Hi But you have already identified the limiting beliefs behind your thinking and your craving. You are frightened that you aren't able to change. Question this belief - have you already made changes - I bet you have. Write the belief down, queston it and gather all the evidence you have to the contrary and then create your new belief. Just a note too, you have written your intent completely in the negative, which if is right, just sends your brain to focus on the very things you don't want to. So just turn it around a bit - do you want to eat moderately, calmly and exercise gently instead? Good luck Viv > > I hear you . > > I went out and bought some Saw Palmetto at a local health food store.
