Guest guest
In dealing with all this anxiety, which become harder to live with every day, I'm wondering if I might need an a-d or a psychiatrist to decide this. I see that you have a psychiatrist on the list of thyroid docs. Why is that so? Is he known to treat patients who have thyroid issues AND anxiety/depression issues? Guest guest
I don't know that you need a psychiatrist for a-d prescribing. My pcp does that for me....sg > > In dealing with all this anxiety, which become harder to live with every day, I'm wondering if I might need an a-d or a psychiatrist to decide this. Guest guest
That doc is on our list because he prescribes Armour. Other than that, I do not know much about him. I have lost contact with the one person who had seen him. You might want to talk to Dr. about the interraction of ADs and thyroid meds. Some of them can really screw you up. And with most of them, you can kiss your sex life goodbye. . . . Guest guest
Okay, thanks for the info. Jan. Yeah, I know that much about AD's and sex drive. I guess I may need to schedule another trip to Lubbock and talk to Dr. in person, phone medicine is complicated and it's embarrasing to have to keep calling on every issue...Jan wrote: That doc is on our list because he prescribes Armour.
