Hello,..

I use Advair too ( only here it is called Seretide) ,.. and have no problem with it what so ever,..

If you even got the slightest suspicion that anything isnt ok then please go and see the docter and ask him/her about it ,..or your specialist,.. they are there for you and they should help you surtantly because they know more about meds and sideeffects ,.. otherwise check at the drugstore that you got the meds at , maybe they can tell you more about any of the questions you might have and if they cant they can point you in the right direction to go anyway,...

Question about advair

I have a question for anyone who knows anything of has had experience with advair. My doctor added advair in November. It worked well for me but I have this problem- I'm sick more than I'm breathing well. I got bronchitis and sinusitis right after thanksgiving and he gave me meds for both . The sinusitis hung around until right after Christmas( it took 2 rounds of antibiotics, one stronger than the other for it to totally go away) Now I'm sick again and Saturday I had a severe attack( didn't go to the ER cause the inhaler worked) I don't have any asthma plan and wouldn't know where to go or what to do if this were to happen again. I'm sick again but not as bad this time. I'm still sore from struggling to breathe all week . Is this because of the advair? Do I need to switch meds or will it get better? When I'm not sick I breathe like a normal person( most of the time)

I got a bad case of bronchitis a few weeks after starting Advair last January.  I've been ok since but felt it was from the Advair too at the time. Had to go to ER, terrible breathing, awful case and my first in 8 yrs even tho the allergist diagnosed me as COPD chronic bronchitis due to my test. I also have throat irritation I think may be due to the Advair.  I have less inhale deep breathing problems this fall/winter.Barb*-.*I have a question for anyone who knows anything of has had experience with advair. It sounds like you really need to see your Doctor -

please let us know how you are doing.

Natural stuff can help, but the asthma needs to be brought under

control first.

Hope this helps you -

I had my first case of bronchitis (after 50+ years of asthma) one

week after starting Advair last year and had a second round of

bronchitis not long after that. I totally think the Advair was

responsible, altho I've since taken it for months with no bronchitis.

You might want to try rinsing your mouth with the hose on your

kitchen sink. I haven't had a sore throat or hoarseness since I

switched to that method.

For me the soreness was confined to a certain small area at the back

of my mouth, just out of range of brushing or gargling.
